About Bo Johnson
Bo Johnson was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia, EM/AML, at the age of 12. He has battled this disease for a year, and lost on Sept. 28, 2012.
Bo reminded us what true courage means, and why one boy can inspire a multitude with nothing more than a smile and a dream to help others.

Bo’s Story and the Go Bo! Foundation
At the age of 12, Bo Johnson was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia, EM/AML. He valiantly fought this disease, but lost his battle on September 28, 2012. Bo’s story does not end there, though. The illness that took his life could not stifle his spirit, his courage or his kindheartedness.
Bo had a mission, his message was simple: “Love each other, help each other, have your neighbor’s back. If you see someone in need, even a stranger, reach out and help. The world can be a better place if we care and help each other.”
